Blue Wave Voiceover was born in late 2019 as the country prepared for our most important Democratic primary race yet. The candidate field was still so wide, and we were encouraged by the gains Democrats made in places like Kentucky and Virginia in 2019. It was clear that there would be significant investment in political advertising across all platforms in 2020. Mission-driven organizations, Democratic candidates, consultants, campaigns, and communications firms would need a wide variety of freelance voiceover talents to choose from to get their important messages out to America. We got to work.

Our vision was a one-stop-shop of voice talents that look and sound like America today: 25 voiceover talents, voicing to elect and re-elect a blue wave, year after year.

We knew that the modern media buyer would need diversity in ages. Millennials, Generation X’ers, and Baby Boomers/Seniors. Of course, they’d also need multicultural voices and voices of color to bring authentic experiences and backgrounds to copy. Immigration reform is also a huge hot-button issue. We knew it was important to have Hispanic voiceover talents who are bilingual in English and Spanish to deliver messages to their communities.

We hope to serve as many 501c3/501c4 organizations, progressive candidates, and Democratic campaigns as possible. We also want to keep building Blue Waves nationwide each and every year.
